This place is a great sports bar/pub that;s great for large parties. Close to Delta Park, you can go there after a game of ultimate frisbee, softball, soccer, or whatever you are doing in North Portland. It’s open until 11 pm; later than most restaurants in Portland.
What we ordered: Porkchop with pears, mushrooms and onions, Paul Bunyan Burger and side salad
How we ordered it: Porkchops with no potatoes, extra vegetables. Paul Bunyan Burger with no bun. Side salad with oil and vinegar.
What we got:

Side salad w/ oil and vinegar

Porkchops w/ onions and mushrooms

Paul Bunyan Burger - should have asked for no cheese....
Cost: Porkchops were the special of the night – $11-ish, oh crap, I can’t remember the prices…, Paul Bunyan Burger – $13-ish, Side salad – $5-ish?????
Quantity: Holy burger! That’s ‘why they call it the Paul Bunyan! There are two eggs under there and some bacon and ham….nuff said.
Quality: OK, it’s about what you would expect from a bar.
MEAT-O-METER says!

Eh, it ws satisfactory I’d say. This place is really great for a large party. They’ve got sports playing on all the easily viewable televisions and pretty good food. This place has got a lot of character too. It’s in an old building and it used to be something cool, but I forget what it was.
Our www.restaurant.com coupon rocked for this! Worth it with the coupon, but not without.
