The Brazil Grill is a buffet. It’s not just any buffet; it’s a MEAT buffet. To fully enjoy this experience, we recommend refraining from eating for at least 5 hours before your reservation to fully enjoy your visit.
A little background about this place: This meat serving restaurant is called a Churrascaria, “shoo-rah-skaria”. In Brazil, churrasco is the term for barbecue. The servers carry skewers of meat of various types. They walk around from table to table and cut or dish out portions of meat onto your plate. This serving style is called “Rodizio” service. (Thanks Wiki!) It’s All-You-Can-Eat AND the food comes to you! It’s fantabulous!
Figuring out and gauging whether you are at the end of your meal can be very difficult. It’s hard to stop when there’s so much goodness around you. So I want to give you some warning signs that indicate that you are “close to the edge” and you probably have had enough. Just like a WOD, listen to your body.
Warning sign #1: Server: ”Flank Steak, sir?”, You: ”…PINEAPPLE!”
Warning sign #2: Difficulty breathing.
Warning sign #3: All the meat starts tasting the same.
Warning sign #4: Regurgitation.
These warning signs were experienced first hand. Don’t ignore them because it will be hard to say STOP! Be advised. If any of these occur then yes, you are D.U.N. , dun!
What we ordered: Everything, it’s a buffet.
How we ordered it: There is a buffet salad bar. The usual greens. There is bread, french fries, rice, beans and some other processed carbohydrates, but those can EASILY be skipped.
What we got: Some meats that were served: Bacon wrapped chicken, tri-tip, chicken hearts, bbq shrimp, pork roast, drumsticks, bacon wrapped filet mignon, ribs, empenadas (mini calzone stuffed with beef, not Paleo) and roasted pineapple.
Mmmmmm…sausage…
Cost: $32 per person.
Quality: All the meat is sooo tasty. They roast the meat on a grill that can cook it just right. Next time I’ll have to ask to see this miraculous piece of machinery. The meat is actually pretty well priced. We ate a large quantity of meat and a wide variety as well.
Quantity: It’s been 24 hours and I’m still not hungry…
MEAT-O-MEATER SAYS?
(pic coming soon!) We’re still recovering from our meal, but I think this one’s a keeper!
